Being a Professional Artist was amazing. As a fine artists I always had a issue with the limitations of the gallery. Early on I had worked on a couple of large outdoor murals and was fortunate enough to have a public art piece at a major museum. Public Art had me hooked but it was a very limited opportunity career choice. As I left college I was lucky enough to get hired as sculptor for the Ringling Circus and Disney on Ice Productions. This blended perfectly with creating work that would be enjoyed by so many and getting paid. I loved it. I never even considered this option prior to this moment. I loved the team dynamic and it was great to be part of something that would take a very long time to accomplish by yourself. I was learning so much from everyone and eventually I was the one showing others how to do things. This projected me to work for some amazing companies along the way and to take on different roles as I matured. This all matured to me owning my own small business, Artists at Work - where we traveled the nation making the world a little more scenic. Thank you to those who found themselves on this path with me along with the many stories and adventures we shared.
